About I was 7 years old when I picked up my first camera. It was a disposable point and shoot - a basic, yet powerful tool - which allowed me a new way of seeing the world. I was able to capture fleeting moments; the rising curves of a smile or the strike of a lightning bolt in my backyard. Sometimes simple, sometimes complex, these moments were always worthy of being remembered and told stories I wouldn’t soon forget. To me, visuals are a critical part of any story. They convey not only beautiful places and peoples, but can draw out intense emotional responses, connections and memories. For the last decade, my work has ranged from documenting nonprofit work in Africa to commercial photography and videography for major companies, including ESPN, LifeProof, EarthRoamer, HGTV, Fox, Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino, the U.S. Army and NBC. Raised on the East Coast, my photography is energized by the beauty of the seasons and infused with a sense of adventure coursing through my veins. The hunger to explore the world is the driving force behind my video and still imagery, and has taken me from an igloo tucked among the peaks of the Swiss Alps to the lava fields of Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park. My mission is to create clean, yet refreshingly compelling and meaningful work. Let’s do this.
